In an unprecedented move by a host, Harvey obtained the format license for East 112 to produce Family Feud internationally, and launched Family Feud Africa in 2020. It quickly became the number one game show in both South Africa and Ghana.
As an investor, Harvey Ventures is keenly focused on sourcing ideas, technology, and people that have immense potential to do good in the world. In 2022, in collaboration with Harvey Ventures, Gamestar+ launched as the world’s first interactive streaming platform, with exclusive rights to hit game shows like Harvey’s Family Feud, as well as Jeopardy! and Deal or No Deal. Harvey Ventures was an early investor in Acorns, Coinbase, AirBnb, Lyft and several other well-recognized companies.

Harvey is an active humanitarian and philanthropist. He and his wife, Marjorie, founded The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation in 2010, which helps underserved communities develop the tools for success. During the height of the pandemic, the Foundation reached over 25,000 youth and families through outreach programs.
