At Invest Fest 2025, Operation HOPE will select five finalists for a HOPE Small Business Scholarship valued at $25,000 of services. One recipient will be announced live during the event.
Live on stage at Invest Fest 2025, the selected entrepreneur will join John Hope Bryant for one-on-one coaching, sharing their business challenges and receiving real-time mentorship in front of a live audience.
The HOPE Scholarship services are designed to level the economic playing field. Through the customized one-on-one programs for Credit & Money Management, Small Business and Disaster Preparedness & Response, HOPE clients gain access to the financial knowledge and tools they need to create a more secure future. Business Plan Development.
Entrepreneurial Status: Must be a current small business owner or early-stage entrepreneur with a registered business (LLC, sole proprietorship, etc.).
Stage of Business: Business must be in operation for at least 6 months and generating some form of revenue OR in a validated pre-launch phase (proof of concept or prototype required).
Invest Fest 2025 Attendance: Must have a ticket to Invest Fest 2025 and be available to appear live on stage if selected.
DEADLINE: AUGUST 4th, 2025 at 11:59pm ET
Business Summary (max 500 words):
Describe your business, target market, impact goals, and how you would use the scholarship resources. Be sure to include the biggest challenge your business is currently facing and what support you need to overcome it.
Video Pitch (1–2 minutes):
Share your business story, mission, and why you should be selected. Must include the founder on camera.
Proof of Invest Fest 2025 Ticket:
Applicants must upload a copy of their Invest Fest 2025 ticket confirmation or receipt to verify attendance eligibility.
Business Documentation (as applicable)
– Proof of business registration
– Tax ID or EIN
– Website or active social media presence
Financial Overview (1-page max):
A high-level snapshot of current revenue, expenses, and funding (if any).
